TapeOut Market Q&A
What is TapeOut Market?
TapeOut Market is a marketplace and service platform for trading supported assets in the TapeOut Protocol ecosystem. It brings official TapeOut Marketplace Buy Orders and Seaport Sell Listings into one trading interface on BNB Chain.
Which assets are currently supported?
The current public markets are TapeOut NAND, TapeOut LATCH, Behemoth NAND, and Behemoth LATCH. NAND is Token ID 0 and LATCH is Token ID 1 in each Processor's ERC-1155 contract.
What is the difference between a Buy Order and a Sell Listing?
A Buy Order escrows BNB in the official TapeOut Marketplace and can be filled by a holder of the matching asset. A Sell Listing is a Seaport order signed by the asset owner and can be purchased while its balance, approval, signature, and status remain valid.
What fees apply?
Seaport purchases include the displayed 1% buyer fee. Network gas also applies to on-chain actions. Review the wallet confirmation and the displayed total before signing.
Why are prices shown in both BNB and USD?
BNB is the settlement currency. USD values are estimates based on the available BNB/USD quote and are provided only to make values easier to compare.
How is the estimated market cap calculated?
The estimate combines indexed NAND and LATCH supplies for a Processor with available market prices. Missing supply or price data can make the estimate unavailable, and the result is not a guaranteed sale value.
Do I need to approve my assets before selling?
Yes, when the selected settlement contract is not already approved to transfer the relevant ERC-1155 asset. The interface shows the required wallet approval before the sale or listing step.
Can I transfer NAND and LATCH to another wallet?
Yes. My Assets provides an ERC-1155 transfer flow with balance, address, network, and receiver checks before the wallet submits the transaction.
Does TapeOut Market hold my assets or private keys?
No. Wallet signatures and transactions remain under your control, and TapeOut Market never asks for or stores your private key or seed phrase. An official Buy Order's BNB is held by the TapeOut Marketplace contract according to that order.
What should I do if a transaction fails?
Check the selected network, wallet balance, gas, asset balance, approval, order status, quantity, and price. Refresh the market because an order may have changed, then review the wallet or simulation error before trying again. Never retry a transaction by sharing wallet secrets.
